Woollahra Council DA Tracker
Development applications, planning panel decisions and council consultations that affect your neighbourhood.
How it works
Every week, we scan Woollahra Council’s DA listings, planning panel agendas and Your Say Woollahra consultations, and include the most significant items in the Suburb Collective newsletter. We cover new DAs, major amendments, public exhibition periods and key decisions.
Where DAs are decided
Development applications in the Woollahra LGA are assessed by one of three bodies depending on the scale and nature of the proposal.
Woollahra Council staff handle most standard residential DAs (single dwellings, alterations, minor works).
Woollahra Local Planning Panel reviews more complex or contested applications, including those that receive significant public objections.
Sydney Eastern City Planning Panel (a regional panel) determines applications with a capital investment value above $30 million, or state-significant developments.
How to have your say
When a DA is lodged, affected neighbours are notified directly by council. DAs are also published on the Woollahra Council website and are open for public submissions during the exhibition period (typically 14 to 21 days). You can submit your comments online via the council’s DA portal.
For broader planning policy consultations (such as changes to height limits, heritage listings or streetscape controls), check Your Say Woollahra at yoursay.woollahra.nsw.gov.au.
